GPBALANCE is more than just a yoga method, often referred to as “Hormonal Yoga.” It serves as a remedy for both the body and soul. To promote healing in ourselves and others, Gustavo Ponce, the creator of GPBALANCE, suggests incorporating 7 essential habits into our lives to naturally balance our hormones.

As we age, both men and women experience physical, emotional, and mental changes that can disrupt hormonal balance and impact our health.

The first habit is the daily practice of the GPBALANCE method, which includes simple yoga postures, various breathing techniques, meditation, visualizations, and more. The benefits are extraordinary:

  • Increased happiness and well-being.
  • Enhanced energy and vitality.
  • Reduced stress and strengthened immune system.
  • Improved brain function and cell regeneration.
  • Reduced inflammation, increased lung capacity and improved quality of sexual life.
  • Longevity and healthy aging.

The 7 Habits of GPBALANCE

The 7 habits of GPBALANCE are closely linked to hormones and chakras.

Regular Practice of the GPBALANCE Method 2.

Movement, breathing, and meditation balance the body, mind, and hormones. This practice integrates moderate postures, breathing techniques, daily meditation, and Yoga Nidra. It is designed to be accessible and strengthens the endocrine system by reducing stress, regulating cortisol, and improving insulin sensitivity. A consistent practice fosters harmony and vitality.

Restorative Sleep

Get deep rest to help your body and hormones regenerate. 6 to 8 hours of quality sleep regulates melatonin, cortisol, and other essential hormones. Establishing consistent routines and practicing Yoga Nidra can optimize rest and enhance both physical and emotional recovery.

3. Digestive Health and Conscious Nutrition

Take care of your gut: what you eat affects your energy and hormones. Choose fresh, nutrient-rich foods that support your microbiota. Avoid ultra-processed foods and refined sugars. Healthy digestion nourishes the body, balances the hormonal system, and boosts your energy.

4. Stress Management and Mindfulness

Breathe, calm your mind, and nurture your inner balance. Reducing chronic stress is essential for regulating cortisol levels and preventing hormonal imbalances. By practicing mindfulness and relaxation techniques, you can identify and manage your emotions before they affect your well-being.

5. Avoid Toxins (Chemical and Relational)

Improve your environment and relationships to feel freer and more vibrant. Eliminate products with endocrine-disrupting chemicals, such as plastics with bisphenol, pesticides, alcohol and tobacco. Emotionally, “traveling light” involves letting go of toxic relationships and unnecessary burdens to reduce stress and promote hormonal balance.

6. Connecting with Pleasure and Active Relaxation

Enjoy more: pleasure and rest recharge your energy. Embrace leisure activities, such as recreation and massage, and connect with water through swimming or relaxing exercises. These practices strengthen the Swadhisthana Chakra and enhance both emotional and hormonal health.

7. Regular Checkups and Evaluations

Know your body to enhance your well-being and prevent health issues. Regular medical check-ups and hormone tests help you detect imbalances early. This mindfulness practice promotes prevention and comprehensive health care. It is beneficial for everyone, especially those beginning to notice the effects of aging. Additionally, it targets yoga teachers, therapists, and health professionals who want to enrich their practice and guide others on their wellness journey. We invite you to join our community and transform lives with your motivation and commitment. Become a certified GPBALANCE teacher and bring wellness to those who need it most!

Duration

Training in the GPBALANCE method is customized based on your prior yoga experience and your grasp of the theoretical foundations necessary for effective transmission. The stages of learning are as follows:

First 50 hours: Introduction to the method.

This initial module covers the basics of the GPBALANCE method. After completing it, you will need an additional 150 hours to reach the 200 hours required for the Junior Teacher level.

From 100 to 150 hours: Teacher in Training

At this stage, you can begin teaching paid classes as a Teacher in Training if you feel ready, while continuing your training.

  • You will have the option to publish your photo, biography and contact on our website.
  • You will be able to complete the remaining hours to become a Junior Teacher under the supervision of a Senior Teacher, even if he/she resides in another country.

200 hours: Junior Level Teacher Certification

When you complete 200 hours, you will earn the title of Junior Level Teacher. This title allows you to teach courses and workshops for a fee.

  • You will be able to teach the first 50 hours of the method using a specific syllabus for this introductory stage.
  • Students who complete these first 50 hours will receive a certificate of participation signed by your Senior Teacher and Gustavo Ponce, creator of the method.

300 hours: Senior Level Teacher Certification

Completing 300 hours will earn you the title of Senior Level Teacher, which is essential for training future teachers during their first 50 to 200 hours.

  • This level requires an advanced mastery of the theory and practice of the method, following the syllabus of the advanced modules.
  • The training required to reach this level must be done directly with Gustavo Ponce.
  • As a Senior Teacher, you will be able to participate in the monthly Zoom meetings with Gustavo Ponce and become part of his close circle.

Quality Assurance

This learning path ensures that every teacher upholds the quality standards and authenticity of the GPBALANCE method.

Training Courses

Trainings are held in various locations around the world. In Chile, for example, they typically occur one weekend each month for 10 hours, usually at Yogashala. There are also intensive formats, such as full-week or 10-day programs, typically held at Canal OM.

Check our activities to find the nearest location or country where you can participate with accredited teachers from the GPBALANCE team.

Regardless of where you study, your training hours will be recognized by Senior teachers or directly by Gustavo Ponce([email protected]).

Although the training is conducted in person, the theoretical component can be completed online, providing flexibility to meet your needs.

Content

The training combines theory and practice, tailored to the hours you choose to complete: 50, 100, 200, 300, or more.

  • From 150 hours, you will be able to conduct parts of the method or present on theoretical and practical aspects under the guidance of your teacher.
  • The course includes a detailed explanation of the 50 techniques of the method, their scientific basis and their effects on the endocrine system and other body systems. It also addresses the connection between chakras, glands, hormones and the 7 essential habits to maintain body homeostasis.

At the beginning, you will receive basic study material and will be recommended to purchase the four GPBALANCE books available on Amazon.

As part of the process, you will complete a health questionnaire to assess your initial status and monitor your progress. This questionnaire will help us identify common symptoms among students and generate statistics that you can use to promote your courses.

Evaluation

During the first 200 to 300 hours, there will be no formal evaluations. Your guiding teacher will continuously assess your progress and will eventually propose including your photo, biography, and contact information in the Team section of our website.
